The Man-Up Club was founded by several lacrosse alumni to bring several eras of players together to promote and assist in the development of the program. The goal of the Man-Up Club is to provide resources for the growth of the program by connecting alumni, coaches, and parents who helped make the program what it is today. Though our financial goals are modest, the goals for the Man-Up Club are not. We want to take DeMatha Lacrosse from one of the top programs in the area to one of the elite program in the country. We look forward to meeting you and having and your son’s join the Man-Up Club after graduation!

To this end, on behalf of the DeMatha Lacrosse alumni Man-Up Club, I would like to invite you to attend the Inaugural Face-Off Dinner to kick-off the 2009 lacrosse season. This event will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Mother’s Federal Hill Grille in Baltimore, MD.

Dave Rather (‘86) and Adam Rather (’89), the owners of Mother’s Federal Hill Grill in Baltimore, will be hosting the Man-up Club dinner. This event will provide an opportunity for alumni, parents, and friends of the DeMatha lacrosse program to get together to meet our new head coach, Scott Morrison, and the 2009 team captains. Dave is generously donating the food and the drinks at cost with all of the proceeds of the evening benefiting the DeMatha lacrosse program. In addition to a top shelf open bar and a Surf and Turf buffet, we will be holding a silent auction. I truly believe this will be a special event and I hope you can join us.
